How it works

In Home Consultation

After an initial phone conversation I will make a time to come to your home and we will take a look at the space/s that you are wanting to focus on organising.  I will ask you lots of questions about your specific needs, your goals, any challenges and what style you are wanting.

If you are then happy to proceed to the next stage I will give you an agreement to sign and I ask for a 50% deposit to secure the date and time that suits you (see T's & C's regarding deposits).

You will then receive an email from me which will include:

  • Confirmation of Day and Time for the session

  • Service Agreement which will include the details of the selected package, a price estimate and a list of products that will work for your particular project (these are an optional extra and will be added to the final account for payment)

During the Session

The first part of the session will be to remove everything from the space we are working on and separate each item in to one of 3 categories; Keep, Donate, Throw Away.
Once the decluttering is done, we get to the fun stage of creating efficient systems and storage solutions such as baskets, tubs and turntables and then labels that suit the aesthetic of the space.  All of this will be done in consultation with you if you prefer or I can go ahead and create what I think will work for you.

I'Il work my hardest to get the work completed in the allocated time however I can not guarantee this as I may come across challenges or obstacles that were not expected or seen at our initial consultation.  If I am getting close to the end of the allocated time, I will confirm with you if you would like me to continue until the job is complete and add the total to the final invoice (charged at $80 per hour, GST included)

After the Session

At the end of the session your selected space/s will be left in a state of order and functionality, with everything in its designated place.  I will take the time to walk you through the newly organised area and explain the systems that have been put in place.  I will offer tips for maintaining the order over time as well.
 

Once we've successfully organised this space, you may find that other areas of your home could benefit from the same transformation.  Many of my clients discover that once one room is decluttered and streamlined, they feel inspired to bring that same sense of order and calm to other parts of their home.
